Vintage 1970s Yves Saint Laurent Blue Velvet Smoking Jacket Sz L

$875.00

Yves Saint Laurent

Size: Large

A rare blue velvet smoking jacket by legendary designer, Yves Saint Laurent. This 70s blazer features a two button closure, three front pockets, three small interior pockets, and two vents in the back. The majority of the blue velvet material is in excellent shape, with the exception of the elbows. The elbows show the most visible wear in this garment, as to be expected. I imagine the former owner in a chair, swirling whisky in a glass while wearing out the elbow on the end table they’ve cozied up next to.

The interior lining bears the Yves Saint Laurent logos. This is a beautifully made piece of fashion history that is still very wearable.

There are no size tags, but this Men’s Jacket is possibly a size Large. The interior tags read “Yves Saint Laurent - Made in France - Bloomingdale’s - The Men’s Store - Via Europa - Professionally Dry Clean Only”

Condition: Pretty, Pretty Good
